I love The Iron King so when I got my hands on the sequel, I was so excited!! It’s really going to be a trilogy so this book is part two of Meghan’s journey. It didn’t take me long to get back into Meghan Chase’s world. The only thing that makes some people recall is how cruel fae can really be. If you haven’t read any fairy tales lately, stop thinking about Tinkerbell! Fairies are complex creatures and not all of them are interested in you, so be careful. One of the unique aspects of this series is that the characters are already familiar to you as a reader before you begin. Many faes are tied together in many legends, such as Queen Mab, Oberon, Titania, and Puck. I love how characters from other worlds come into this world and you can see their story expanded.
