I cannot stop reading this book. The story of Call, Aaron and Tamara made me totally addicted! It’s great to discover so many things about Magisterium with Call. His father lied, there were not many things he didn’t tell him, which made him think that he would die within a second.

Callum Hunt, slowly learning to control and use his magic is something I love to read. Lessons, and Havoc! I love that wolf. Tamara is amazing. She is a great magician and an absolutely wonderful friend. She and Aaron supported Call a lot and protected each other. It was nice to learn a little bit about her story and help me get to know her better. Aaron is a clear golden boy. I was really surprised when I found out he was a chaos mage. I started the book thinking The Call would be Makar. Aaron is a great friend and I love their friendship so much.

The three friends went through everything together in this first book (with Havoc, of course). The other characters are also really interesting. I was shocked to learn who Drew really was and I wasn’t expecting his death. Regarding Call becoming the Enemy of Death, it was a huge plot twist that I didn’t expect! I’m super excited to start my next book and explore more.

My reading experience is great and I love it.
