The sweetest story of all.
This is one of my favorite Shadow Hunter stories of all time. Some of my favorite characters make up this book as well as some new characters that I love now. I definitely want to know more about this beautifully blended family and hope to have another story soon. Narration is excellent as well. Her voice is distinct and moves easily between characters.
This is a great short story. Lots of twists and action are included. It’s great to get Alex’s point of view, he has a very different mindset than the rest of the characters. I love how much he loves Magnus and what he wants to do for the underworld people in general. He is one of my favorite characters.
This story is everything I wanted it to be and then some. There was an adventure but it fell behind Love in all its forms. From friendship to romance to the cutest family love imaginable, The Land that I Lost captures it all. Oh my, it’s amazing and the chemistry between all the different characters is perfection from the first interaction to the last. It’s great to see so many familiar characters (Lily I Love You!!!) but that’s really Alec’s story. I enjoyed his reflections on the past and the insights he offered about his present and future. The scene between Alec and Robert is particularly interesting. This story is pretty much the setting for the last book of The Dark Artifaces series so it’s a must read! You won’t look at Kit like that again after this. But ultimately this story is the crux of a Malec fan’s dream. Read read read !!!!!
