I’ve always enjoyed TJ Klune’s work but this story has to be one of the best I’ve heard since I started listening to audiobooks. The author’s wit and writing style let me experience every range of emotions one could consider. The dynamic between Sam, Garry and Tiggy is amazing and the love between Sam and Ryan can be felt (physically) through words. Adding to the grandeur of the words is Michael Lesley’s superb narration. Each character is animated with different vocals assigned to each character. What a great talent! Special is hardly a strong enough adjective to describe how wonderful this book is.

My new favorite. I must have this author and narrator, there must be more. Addicted to this story, I adore the amazing Sam, Ryan, Tiggy and Gary. I laughed, felt moved, and listened to this wonderful story hauntingly. I was listening to this story while walking my dog ​​and got a few ‘Oh that chicken is crazy’ look. Can’t help but laugh listening to Sam n Gary snip. I dare someone not to laugh when they hear this absolutely amazing story.
