The Limpopo Academy Of Private Detection / The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency, Book 13, Audiobook Online By: Alexander McCall Smith

Alexander McCall Smith’s beloved, #1 bestselling Women’s Detective Agency series continues as Botswana’s best and kindest detective finds her personal and professional life has taken a turn become confused.

Precious Ramotswe is very busy these days. The best apprentice at Tlokweng Road Speedy Motors is in trouble with the law and stuck with the worst lawyer in Gaborone. Grace Makutsi and Phuti Radiphuti are building their dream home, but their builder isn’t quite settled. Most surprisingly, Mma Potokwane, the respected manager of the orphanage, was fired.

Mma Ramotswe doesn’t want to rest when her friends are being abused. Help comes from an unexpected guest. He is none other than the venerable Clovis Andersen, author of the Privacy Spot Principles, the #1 handbook for women. Together, Mma Ramotswe, Mma Makutsi and their colleagues help solve injustices even in their beloved Botswana, while discovering something new about being a good detective.

I have read almost the entire series. I was hooked from the very first one. But I also love listening to this series. The writer is interesting. Thank you Alexander McCall Smith! And Lisette is such a talented storyteller/actor. I will finish the rest on Audible. I highly recommend this series as an interesting, well-written and insightful book. And I love the glimpse of this little corner of Africa – in Botswana. I would love to visit there someday. But for now this series is enough.

These are real – life issues that affect the lives of each character in the book. 0ne really appreciates Botswana and its people’s philosophical background. The book is full of compassion and practical common sense. Above all, the author wants to show respect for the country. Considering the problems we face in the United States today, I would recommend this book to our politicians and citizens. THANK YOU MCCALL – SMITH.
