This book is different from the other works of Brandon Sanderson. I’ve only read one book by Mary Robinette Kowal, but this one is different from the other. This book is a great compilation of their writing styles that made me think deeply about the topics presented.

This is a great story, but certainly not easy to hear. Be prepared to feel deeply and have plenty to think about when you’re done.

Ohhhh Man! Do you know what happens when two of my favorite authors collaborate? You get, an Effing-Great Book! You get a mystery, the likes of which I’ve never read before… strange and haunting, with so much pain it will sever your soul!
Julia Whelan’s talented narrative is simply amazing, setting the stage for us perfectly as she flips through the background of Holly’s life as she tells this story!
Needless to say, even though it’s short (only 3.5 hours), this is one of my favorite books written this year! So, if you like mysteries or can easily push genre boundaries, you’ll want to include this little beauty in your library!
