I honestly want to say that for me, this duet changed my life! The story touched me so much that it took me longer to process. I’m so glad I decided to listen to the duet because the narration is excellent, the raw emotions and beautiful lyrics come to life and captivated me every minute of the book. These two storytellers together are absolutely magical!

Reading and listening to books is a beautiful outlet and I am absolutely amazed at how a story like this can really make my heart race and open my eyes to so many things that I never really understood about American culture. Book two was a much more suspenseful plot and at one point brought tears to my eyes when I heard it. The growth and journey that Maxim and Lennix go through is not an easy one, but together they become stronger and more powerful than they ever imagined.

This book took my breath away and kept it the whole time!! I love Kennedy Ryan for always writing books that resonate and have a place. Political stance is reasonable and honest! You did a great job.
