The Road to You is an emotional work, I started reading and was hooked. This story has it all — tension, anger, suspense and heartbreak. I laughed, laughed, cried, and got angry at some point. It’s not often that I feel connected to the characters, but Melissa Toppen accomplished just that. I love the story, the characters and the words.

This book is all about feeling. The Road To You is a beautiful heart, feel it in your soul book. From the very beginning, I was hooked and fell into a mess. I have wiped away my tears many times. Elara makes me just want to hug her tight with all she’s been through. Kam and Kane’s impact on her was huge. When it comes down to it, you feel the love she shares with them. Watching her world crumble tore me to pieces. I don’t think it wasn’t until the last minute that I felt my heart put back right next to Elaras. How can you not love Kane and Kam. It’s easy to see the way Elara does and the affection the brothers have for her. I feel this love in my soul. Melissa Toppen has a knack for manipulating your emotions. She makes you want to scream and scream because seriously how can you. But just wow what reading. VERY GOOD. I love every tear that comes out. So yes, get those tissues ready ladies and gentlemen because they will be needed. This book I can’t put down and NEED TO READ. Take The Road to You seriously and look forward to reading this emotional yet soulful book.

I really enjoyed this story, and found it good, heartbreaking but hopeful. A beautiful story with all the emotions. Narration was a bit slow for my liking but got it up to speed and works fine.
