This book is very good! Personally I LOVED it and thought it was very entertaining. There are lots of twists and turns and lots of pictures! The characters are amazing and I think they put together really well. I totally recommend reading this book

Masterfully written, non-stop entertaining and wonderfully funny. Every last part of the chapter leaves me yearning for the next one.

I like this story, but I have some problems with the narration. I appreciate that the author read the book, but it reminds me of one time, when I was working at a call center, I got a call from someone who was using a Sign Language interpreter. America. The interpreter is very expressive, almost to the point of humour, and it distracts from the overall call. The same thing happens in this story.

I enjoyed this book so much, It was nice to see a female character take over and kick the ass. I was happy to see mythology outside of Greece and Rome. I’ve enjoyed all of Rick Riordan’s books and this one is a delightful mythological quest in another world with great characters. In this book, their quests are constantly fraught with difficulty, and I love that they just need to add one more thing to their to-do list. Both Kiren and Neel have some parenting issues. This is great for them to explore and talk about. I love Neel’s mother because even though she’s a demon, she’s still a mother and her character is one of my favorites. That we are not who our parents are but how we live our lives. This is a great adventure for the average reader and I can’t wait for the next one.
