There are no words to describe how much I love this audiobook. It’s not hard for me to put a book down forever, and even if I don’t listen, I still think about the story and its characters, wondering where it will all lead and what will happen next. Alma Cuervo’s voice is a perfect fit for Evelyn, and as she told the stories of her life, I was mesmerized. This book was the highlight of my summer reading, and I would recommend it to anyone hooked on Old Hollywood.

This story is absolutely amazing. The storytellers are perfect. Vivid characters. The plot  are unique. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. My only review, Evelyn Hugo is said to have an ‘out of this world’ top half but the model on the cover of the book, who I assume is Evelyn, doesn’t quite match the character description. It’s a love story through and through, but it has an interesting twist. Great read.
