Once again, Shamim Sarif delivers an action – packed and gripping thriller filled with all the espionage and undercover work I’ve always wanted to read voraciously. I’m a big fan of feminist and women’s empowerment books and this book definitely ticks those boxes. I’m substituting for Jessie, Hala, and Caitlin as they travel between London and Mumbai to track down and stop a terrorist group with deep political connections from killing schoolgirls. Shamim Sarif has a bad habit of creating realistic, witty and likable characters who will always have a special place in my heart. Although this story is a sequel to the Protocol of Athena, it can be read independently as the author has done a great job of filling in important pieces of information from the previous book.

Only Shamim Sarif can write books that surpass Ian Fleming and are woman – centered. I have enjoyed all of her books so far. DARK MISSION OF DARK MISSION makes me beg for more. Brava Shamim, I can’t wait for the next book. This book is a must read. A movie? Brava, Aileen Bordman.
