The book ends abruptly, and the reader feels frustrated because he wants to read more about the other characters in the series.

I love the passionate love story between Claire and Tristan. I love their chemistry and I love the real-life bumps in the road they tried to become a family when Claire was a widowed mother of three boys. I think the tensions between her oldest sons and Tristan are very real but it’s amazing to see their hatred slowly turn into love.

At one point, Claire’s desire to keep her family with her deceased husband Wade tangled, even her children were ready to embrace what could be a new family with Tristan. Nice to see Tristan stand up for himself and what he wants. My only disappointment is that the book ends a bit abruptly and I wish that Jameson and Emily from the first book had a bigger role in this book. Can’t wait to read the story of two other brothers, Christopher and Ellis!
