I have been waiting for this book to come out and it did not disappoint. The story development and characters are done very well. You can feel their emotions and connections through the narrator’s voice. Excellent reading; I was captivated from start to finish. I’m so sad it’s over, but now I just need to get a hard copy of the book to keep in my library. An instant classic with rich pictures and descriptions of the Vine witches and their spells.
I was socked. It doesn’t happen to me often. I often find traitors, fools, murderers. But all the time I’m like, yeah, I was right, the author predicted for me and said oh no, you’ll have to wait for my friend. What a fascinating story about magic, potion making and winery, all wrapped up in a little love. I love every minute I read this book. The narrator is also phenomenal when it comes to changing her voice.
