Wow – one of the most compelling stories about Cork o’Connor

This book is number seven in the series, and I’m thinking right now that it’s been one of the best! Mind you, when I read number eight, I think the same thing about it, LOL! As a rule, my favorite book is the one I’m reading at that moment! So many twists and turns in this one that I did not see coming, and David Chandler is simply amazing as the narrator. Chandler also reads the Joe Pickett series, which is another outdoorsy Type of book, and he reads them beautifully. I enjoyed this one immensely, and I can highly recommend it

I am a life long reader – and I read the whole genre of literature from Politics to basket weaving
with one exception, I don’t read romance novels. Kruger’s books, all 18 + of them, are without
exception the overall best writer I have ever read. After reading the first one I was hooked – I now
have all of them. He tells the story in such a way you are there with him, walking in the woods,
or facing whatever obstacles he encounters. He has a “sit on the front porch rocking chair” demeanor
that comes thru in all of his novels. I have but one promise & that is you won’t be disappointed.

Review 3: Thunder Bay – Cork O’Connor Book 7 by Grayjay

This is the 7th book in the Cork O’Connor series. I have read them in order (which I recommend), and have enjoyed all of them. This one, however, is the best. Multiple story lines, and the interesting back story of Henry Meloux. Krueger develops so many great characters and different stories. The setting in Minnesota and the Lake Superior area is quite interesting, not knowing anything about that part of the country.
