Mason dealt the first blow to the Master’s forces.

The fight wasn’t all Mason had to deal with.

His woman has some special news for him, and Nulena has a secret that will shake Mason to the core.

We’ve been told this is the second to last entry in the Metal Mage series, and this book does a great job of tying the many threads together and delivering the final stretch. By this point in the series, the characters all feel like old friends, and it’s great to see all of the relationships, friendships, and rivalry play out in entertaining ways. Of course, there are also some interesting curved balls thrown, but even they make complete sense in the overall scheme of things.

With just one more book to go, I can’t wait to see how this story finally ends, although I have to admit I’m not ready to stop reading about the growing Flynt family. Maybe after this series is completed, the author will treat us to some additional stories in the future, especially since there is currently a new generation of Flynts emerging.
