Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is back. The little girl in the blue Buick uniform was assigned the unpopular mission of finding Mo Bedemier, Trenton’s most beloved citizen, arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and missing his court appearance. . Once again, the entire One for the Money crew springs into action, searching for Mo, stumbling across a street littered with dead drug dealers, leading Stephanie to suspect Mo may be in over his head. .

Stephanie Plum, bounty hunter, enjoys her job. Her mother hated it, but her grandmother loved the drama and violence.

In this book, Stephanie becomes unpopular in the neighborhood while pursuing a beloved local figure. Uncle Mo has been selling ice cream to children for many years. That he is now a bail jumper is simply unimaginable to anyone who knows him. Everyone said Uncle Mo would never do anything wrong. He is a saint! Stephanie was sick of hearing that. She wanted the fee to take him in.

The plot includes lots of dead bodies and death threats against Stephanie. Even her pet hamster’s life is at stake. What Mo is doing turns out to be quite fascinating.

And the not-quite-romance between Stephanie and sleazy cop Morelli heats up and cools down in one tantalizing scene after another.

This may be my favorite book in the series so far. I wish Amazon would deliver the next book faster.
