This is the first book in Katie Reus’ RED STONE SECURITY series and she certainly started it off successfully.

Elizabeth Martinez works for Red Stone Security but has many secrets that she doesn’t want anyone to know, especially Porter Caldwell. Her biggest problem and failure was her brother Benny, and when she and Porter dated briefly, he spoke his mind and Elizabeth didn’t want anyone to come between her. and his brother. He is in trouble and always calls on Elizabeth to help him. Elizabeth feels she is indebted to him for what happened in the past and always gives up everything to help him. But the last time he called Elizabeth, he dragged her into a world full of trouble. Now she has a notorious crime boss chasing her and he will stop at nothing to get her.

Porter Caldwell had secretly kept an eye on Elizabeth. He rushes in to rescue her from the madman her brother is involved with and decides that he won’t let her push him away again. He should never have let her push him away the first time and he wouldn’t let that happen again.

This is a short read but packed with nonstop action and a great romance story. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves romantic suspense.
