Helen Hardt’s obsession began shortly after Craving. One of the aspects that makes this series so enjoyable is the complex cast of characters that captured my heart and imagination. There are sexy handsome men, strong and resilient women, and a bunch of downright obnoxious bad guys.

Obsession continues the story of Talon and Jade. Talon is at a point where he knows he needs therapy to come to terms with his past so he can be whole for Jade. Dr. Melanie Carmichael is helping.

The obsession, and the whole story of Steel, is dark and mysterious. Ms. Hardt has done an excellent job of delivering short tidbits about what’s to come for the characters, Talon’s past and Steel’s future. At the same time, she brings up a number of unexpected events that make the reader question how things will go on and on.
