I am a big fan of international crime fiction, especially police proceedings. Considering this is the 10th installment in Alex Gray’s Lorimer series, she’s done a great job in continuing her characters while delivering a distinctly different storyline each time it comes out. Lorimer and his wife, Maggie, are once again very interesting and become “old friends”. The same is true of pathologist Rosie and her husband, Solly. This story revolves around a mysterious Swedish girl and her relationship with her roommates and her Father. It’s a rather suspenseful construction, and the reader is as confused as the police as the plot unfolds. There are many twists but no red herring. The newly introduced characters are beautifully drawn and bring the story to a final conclusion. It’s one of those things you want that isn’t over yet! I will definitely be waiting for Gray’s next production and I bet it will continue to be a good contribution to the genre. It is noteworthy that T.

As always, Alex Gray keeps you constantly engaged in the story. There is always a turning point that makes you guess a second time. Excellent plot, just a really great listen to Joe Dunlop’s amazing vocals.

I really liked this book. It is very well read and the plot has a lot of twists and turns; it kept my interest till the end.
