The Girl in the Spider’s Web (Full Audiobook) By David Lagercrantz

David Lagercrantz took charge of the series after Stieg Larsson and has worked with the same passion and devotion that the pioneer showed. The personal tragedies and the pinching past all were dealt in The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest and here the story moves on a newer road.

Mikael helped Lisbeth in every possible way and she was saved even though she was shot in the head. The enemy was influential and the crime of three murders was tough to escape but the unthinkable was achieved by Lisbeth. Professor Balder in this new story wants the Millennium magazine to publish a scientific research.

The research is related to Balder’s son and he wants to tell the truth to the whole world before his son’s life is terminated by those who want him. Not only Balder’s son has those amazing powers with which he can calculate about the future accurately there is also a girl like him.

That girl is none other than Lisbeth Salander who too has this unique gift and both are in connection with one another.  The boy and Lisbeth once again becomes the prime target for many gangs that can use their powers for the mean purposes. It’s time for another showcase story that the Millennium will publish if fate favors those with artificial intelligence. Changing narrator all the time is not a good idea and is not working well for the series.

Saul Reichlin has a marvelous voice and is master of narrating suspense novels but some pronunciation issues damage the impression on certain levels. Improvement is needed in narration but if you are an old fan than it is not much of a problem.
