So far, I have read 16 Christopher G. Nuttall novels, each is my favorite!! I fell in love with science fiction in high school. The ability of the genre to allow and the author to give you an analogy about his view of the future. I bought them for myself for quick easy entertainment while reminding myself that the future will have all the problems people face by both current and historical events. I bought them for my grandchildren in the hope that this author might interest them in thinking beyond the level of a good photographer. I vote to keep it simple and fun

This is the sixth book in the Ark royal series. This story is about the Indian government launching an uprising and taking over the factories held by the British and demanding recognition as a serious world power. After Star Wars, the UK is struggling to rebuild its military as well as its war-torn country. The last thing it needs is a war with India. Can the dispute be resolved diplomatically or does the Royal Navy need to be sent out?

One thing I like about space operas as well as westerns is the straightforward story about good people protecting people from bad guys. Nuttall often takes his ideas from current affairs and takes them to the interstellar stage. I think in this story you can think of the Falkland War as a current sentimental idea.
