The story begins at a rehearsal dinner, when two complete strangers must be paired up for their upcoming wedding ceremony.
They meet, they have an awkward conversation and despite her pranking him, they beat it and end up having a great time on their wedding day.

He leaves, she stays, though, they keep in touch and so on, they start a beautiful relationship over the phone. There seemed to be a connection between them and after a while, Jake -who was a famous singer who was touring around Europe- asked Casey to visit him in Europe for the weekend. The weekend turns into summer and a love story unfolds smoothly and beautifully.
Well, is that enough when one of the two has a traumatic past and a lot of internal friction?
