Neutral is a sentimental book in the Curse of the Gods series by Jaymin Eve and Jane Washington.
Emmy was born a resident, and she expects to die as a resident… until Willa changes everything. She certainly wasn’t prepared for what would happen after her death. The war threatens to turn far more serious than anyone ever expected, there’s only one person who can help her… but his terms are too strict.

Cyrus was born out of necessity: a being of light, born with a single purpose. Time has changed him. Recent events have worried him… but a certain transformed resident is about to do much worse. She was about to overturn his existence.

Topia gave them no choice: They survived together, or lost the war.

I loved Emmy from the start and Cyrus is a character that people can’t help but love even if he’s stupid most of the time haha. I loved watching Emmy find her strength, finally exploring her feelings for Cyrus, and seeing her perspective on everything Topia and related to the fight between creators and Willa. I love her personality and love to follow her trail and love what she has become to be a goddess.

I strongly recommend reading this book, even if it is a novel and not one of the main 5 books. It helps paint a more complete picture and I love Emmy and Cyrus alike. How much heat but love there. I will miss these characters a lot
