Out of all the books in The Dragon King series, this is my least favorite. I don’t like the heroine but the narrator has great reading skills and speaks with a lousy Southern accent, breathless and so over-the-top that I can barely stand to watch the entire recording. Donna Grant makes you guess as soon as you think you know what’s going on and who’s the bad guy, there’s a twist.
