I don’t usually read a book like this, but it was recommended to me, so I wanted to give it a try. I was immediately drawn to this fascinating story after only listening to a few pages. When a 10-year-old girl ventured out to play one afternoon in the schoolyard, one of the girls was murdered. So many twists and turns in this gripping plot, which profoundly affect the lives of the remaining four girls for the next fifteen years. The story is very well written. The narrator really brings the story to life. Her story of each character’s journey in dealing with this unsolved murder is fascinating.
