And by the admiral’s orders, Captain Tanner Scott was also sent to perform RIM Navy duty on the planet with the task of giving up his alcohol addiction. Though he knew that this was what the admiral expected of him. He finds it harder to do than he ever imagined.

Tanner meets a woman – the sister of the rebel leader and while in love with her, he is not sure that the feelings are mutual. He tries to deal with his life and drinking but instead, he is faced with the choice of a lifetime – love or death.

Against incredible odds in the middle of a prison planet, he makes his choice. His whole life depended on that choice… forever changing RIM’s future!”

Take a chance despite my bad impression of Book 2 and wish I hadn’t wasted my money. Too bad the author seems to have run out of breath except for the lengthy descriptions of Scott’s intoxications. Despicable hero, very thin plot and completely disappointing. Will not buy or read any more works by this author. Wasting time though skimmed rather than read this book, moreover a novel in its favor.
