When Carter, a past one-night stand that changed her life forever, shows up at her hometown bar without any recollection of her other than her unique chocolate scent, Claire will emphasized that this time he remembered her.

Carter when he suddenly discovers he has a four-year-old son and Claire’s panic that her stretch marks and fragile bedroom experience will lead the man of her dreams to the hills. , the couple will do whatever they want. Maybe to get their happiness forever after.

I was referred to this book as ‘laughing out loud’ and that’s for sure! I don’t recommend reading it in public, random bursts of laughter can get you locked out pretty quickly or at least some very weird looks!

Claire is a lovable character who decided she never wanted to have children as a child, she went on to tell the world, a college student with a life planned ahead of her. Definitely not including children. Tired of being a virgin, she decided to ‘get it done’ at a friend’s party one night… a few weeks later, she realized she was pregnant, but she wasn’t even there. didn’t even know the name of the man she slept with and no one else seemed to know either!

Claire becomes the loving single mother of her son, Gavin, but she cannot forget her mysterious man. Four years later, Carter unexpectedly shows up, which turns out he’s been searching for the mysterious girl who smells like chocolate since their first night together.

I love this book. I laughed until I coughed and still couldn’t stop reading. It deserves every point out of the five stars I’ve given, which (if you’ve read my other reviews) you’ll know is rare.

It’s not perfect. I argued with the voice a bit during the first few chapters when we met Claire, who wasn’t interested in having kids. Once I got over that, though, it was simple and fun.

After a drunken night, Claire finds out that she is pregnant but she doesn’t even know the father’s name. She repeatedly tried to find him but in vain and in the end she decided to raise Gavin on her own.
