Skating the Line San Francisco Strikers Series 2 – Free Online
Skating the Line is the second novel in the San Francisco Strikers series by author Stephanie Kay.
Amanda Pearsall never wanted to take root. Six years ago, she put California in her rearview mirror and started traveling the world, one adventure at a time. Eighteen months ago, she returned home for a family emergency, and here she is, with no departure date in sight. The work she’s taking on to get over herself is oppressive and she needs to get back into it. Beware of the wind and live her life on her terms.
Ben Chester, the stoic captain of the San Francisco Strikers, lives and breathes hockey. From the age of 3 when his father put a pair of skates on Ben’s feet, hockey became his life. What could be more fun than going on the ice and winning with your team? His nickname may be Cheesy, but he doesn’t have time for jokes while playing his favorite game. And he doesn’t have time to be distracted, especially from the media. He learned his lesson years ago to never trust anyone with a press pass, and when he finds out what Amanda does for a living, he wants nothing more to do with her.
Ben knows that they’re not all compatible, no matter how good she feels in his arms. He likes to skate in line. But Amanda couldn’t even see them.
Love this story, it has a great plot and moves a bit faster than book 1. I like both main characters and I love the twists and turns in their relationship. I love that Amanda considers herself and her relationships when making decisions, I love that she looks for answers that can make her happy in so many ways. It is a positive message for the individuals reading from the story. I enjoyed getting to know all the groups even better than in book 1 and I am looking forward to the next book in the series!
Great read to hang out or travel. I’ve been listening to most of it while traveling and cleaning the house and it feels like I got through it really quickly!
Really cute I really liked it when I started reading it… it’s slow but to the point where it contains some fascinating details and it makes me unable to stop reading so I keep reading and I like it shows a lot thing about obstacles in their relationship but I wish to just sit down with her and her mom and yes, yes but not enough diaries. I wish it was the place that made him realize she needed him but thank god Ben did that and p.s. I love nicknames aka Cheesy and Manda and p.s.s. I totally recommend this book to anyone who loves books like this especially this series so far read it it definitely won’t let you down.
