Morgan Mackenzie had a very bad day.

First at work, then at home, and then her bathtub drops down a portal to another world, with her in it. Now she’s stranded thousands of miles from any civilization with nothing but a bathtub and a lace balloon. But she learned magic, so that’s great. Now if she can find some clothes….

A gripping LitRPG story similar to The Wandering Inn series, a group of people from our world find themselves magically transported to another universe, working in a similar way to an entry game. Multiplayer role with classes, stats and skills. Our protagonist, Morgan Mackenzie, was unfortunately taking a shower at the time; so she arrived with nothing but a tub, loofah, and about 30 gallons of water. She crashes into a tree into a giant eagle’s nest and, through a series of panic-filled missteps, she finds herself with skills and levels tagged with the “Nude” bonus. and Unequipped”, which is inconvenient and awkward and interesting (surprisingly) it doesn’t become the focus of the whole story.

There’s a lot of fun in this world and a lot of well-developed characters, it’s a good story and I’ll be watching for the sequel.

There are many people who start writing and get the job done. Every once in a while you stumble across a gem. I think Skyclad is such a gem.
I was looking for something different from the multitude of murder mystery thriller genres and thought I should give Skyclad a try. From the very first pages, it is clear that Scott Browder is a master storyteller.
I absolutely loved this book and can’t wait to find out how the story unfolds.
