This book is very interesting! It’s like Stranger Things meets Vampire Diaries but everyone is bi. I fell for Christine’s trap every time and was always taken by surprise. If you want something spooky and sad, full of funny, intelligent characters, then I recommend you read this book.

THE DEVOURING GREY is all the gloom, atmosphere and anything anyone would want in a young adult novel. One of my favorite things to do is read books with strong characters AND strong settings, and this book hits that mark. Its characters and setting reflect a dark, small-town American vibe, except that it also has magic and a fearsome monster to raise the stakes.
