A surprising and gripping sci-fi thriller with a killer
The daughter of two astronauts, Romy Silvers is no stranger to life in space. But she never knew how isolated the universe could be until the tragic death of her parents left her alone on Infinity, a speeding spaceship leaving Earth. .
Romy tries to make the most of her lonely situation, but with just brief messages from her therapist on Earth to keep her company, she can’t help feeling that something is missing. . It seemed like a dream come true when NASA warned her that another ship, the Eternity, would join Infinity.
Romy begins exchanging messages with J, the captain of Eternity, and their friendship breathes new life into her world. But as Eternity draws closer, Romy learns that J’s mission is more than she could have imagined. And suddenly, there are worse things than being alone..
Great narrative, capturing the horror and sadness of the characters. The main character is amazing and incredibly strong in spirit. I would recommend this perk to anyone who prefers not to sleep during reading as you won’t be able to put this book down.
This book intrigued me from the start just because of its premise. I read it in less than 24 hours while on vacation. The first two thirds of the story amused me but didn’t make me lose interest. However, the final third was amazing. The whole tune has changed, and it’s incredibly well choreographed.
