The Pearl By Tiffany Reisz – Audibook Online

In “The Pearl” by Tiffany Reisz, Lord Arthur Godwick finds himself in a challenging situation when he discovers that his brother has accumulated a substantial debt to Regan Ferry, the owner of The Pearl Hotel. In order to settle the debt, Arthur agrees to work off the tab in a unique way: by becoming Regan’s lover.

As Arthur delves into this arrangement, he quickly realizes that he is merely a pawn in a complex game of revenge. Nothing and no one is as they initially appear, including Regan herself. As their relationship intensifies, Arthur becomes entangled in a web of desire, manipulation, and secrets.

Throughout the book, Reisz skillfully explores themes of power dynamics, sexuality, and the intricacies of relationships. As Arthur’s understanding of the situation deepens, he must confront his own desires and motivations, as well as the true intentions of those around him.

“The Pearl” is a captivating and sensual novel that delves into the complexities of erotic games and the blurred lines between pleasure and control. Reisz’s evocative prose and intriguing characters make for an enticing read that keeps readers guessing until the very end.

When Lord Arthur Godwick learns that his brother is in debt to Regan Ferry, owner of The Pearl Hotel, he agrees to work… in her bed. Soon, handsome but troubled Arthur discovers he’s a pawn in an erotic revenge game – and nothing, not even his lover, seems to be.

Very good audio narration. Thanks to Tiffany Reisz for this amazing story! I thoroughly enjoyed being drawn into this romance novel!

I love all three books in the series. I hope there will be a fourth book about the youngest brother. I love how this third book brings it all together. Tie everything in a nice neat bow for the reader. Sex, ghosts and art. What more can you ask for?

I have read through many reviews that this book lacks the element of fantasy that was so vividly expressed in the previous two books. I must disagree. In a sea of romantic love, where women are younger, less experienced, and eager for a partner to dominate, The Pearl breaks the mold. That’s pretty awesome to me. But that’s Tiffany Reisz for you. Always push the envelope and break the glass ceiling.

So here’s what you can expect:
Arthur Godwick, 21, must pay the debt his careless brother owed to our 30-year-old widowed heroine Reagan. As is expected in the Godwicks series, the debt will be fulfilled sexually. This is erotic after. Reagan knew what she wanted and a submissive man would cover her expenses pretty well. What follows draws inspiration from historical artworks, all from female artists. Are you seeing a trend here? I do and I love it! Women for victory!!! But that doesn’t mean our powerful heroine isn’t vulnerable. There are many layers to these characters, shown in the detailed storytelling that Reisz excels at. Really amazing! Check it out.

Thank you to the following people who gave me access to the pre-reader copy (ARC) of The Pearl. This generosity does not affect my honesty when rating/reviewing.
