The Practice Proposal By Tracy March – Audiobook Online

“The Practice Proposal” is the first book in the “Suddenly Smitten” series written by Tracy March. The story revolves around Liza Sutherland, a woman who is not interested in finding love. She finds herself unexpectedly involved with Cole Collins, a famous baseball player for the Nationals and someone she had a crush on during her teenage years. Despite her attraction to Cole, Liza is determined not to get involved with a notorious player.

Liza Sutherland is a practical and independent woman who has focused on her career rather than pursuing romantic relationships. She attends a charity auction where she unexpectedly ends up with a date she didn’t even bid on. To her surprise, the date turns out to be Cole Collins, the same guy she had a crush on as a teenager.

Cole Collins is known for his playboy reputation and his success as a baseball player. Liza is initially hesitant to get involved with him due to his reputation and her fear of getting hurt. However, as they spend more time together, Liza realizes that there is more to Cole than meets the eye.

As Liza and Cole spend time together, they begin to develop feelings for each other. Liza starts to see that Cole is not just a notorious player but also a caring and genuine person. However, their relationship faces challenges as they navigate through their own insecurities and past experiences.

“The Practice Proposal” explores themes of trust, second chances, and overcoming preconceived notions about others. It delves into the complexities of relationships and how people can change and grow over time.

Overall, “The Practice Proposal” is a contemporary romance novel that follows the journey of Liza Sutherland and Cole Collins as they navigate their way through their complicated feelings for each other. Tracy March skillfully weaves together a story filled with romance, humor, and personal growth.

Liza Sutherland is not looking for love. It wasn’t from a charity auction that she didn’t even enter the auction and especially not with Cole Collins, the first national team player, the guy she was obsessed with as a clumsy teenager. She won’t get involved with a notorious playboy, no matter how attractive Cole may be.

Cole Collins is set to renegotiate his contract, but after so much partying all night, he’ll need some aggressive advertising before he can make the list. His agent Frank considers Liza the perfect prop – only Cole doesn’t take into account that Liza is no longer just an emotional teenager. She’s beautiful and smart and he’s instantly hooked.

When Frank makes a deal that Liza can’t refuse – betting she’ll fall in love with Cole or half a million awesome dollars going to charity – the game begins. But don’t bet on the emotions that really emerge. Can fake become official forever?

Fun fake girlfriend/sports romance with some twists. Both H and h have hidden motives for dating the other at an unfortunate time. He’s been trying to clean up his image to improve his new professional baseball contract extension. She was offered a donation to her employer to save her job. Don’t cheat and have HEA. The narrator is a bit slow in my opinion, but I’m happier at 1.1x. Mild anxiety and low temperature.

I was worried about sports being the setting in this story but that’s not the point. The story is very good and there are no offensive sex scenes, which I don’t care about. There’s a secret I DON’T see coming… and I pride myself on my predictability. The vocal performance was very well done. She doesn’t have a dull tone like many other female artists. I felt very invested in the characters and enjoyed the ending. I will definitely check out more from this author!!
