Loved it. This story is a great little ending to the series. I love Jake and being in his head is something special. I also like the way Johnny is perceived in this book. In others I might have made assumptions about him, none of which were very flattering but this was just like slapping me in the face and telling me how wrong I was. Now I really wish Johnny had a story that didn’t end like that, I think he would be a really kind and caring soul to read. But this is Jake and Tru and shows how strong their love is.

This is a sequel to a series, so please don’t try to read it without knowing Tru and Jake’s background. I feel that if you read this novel without the other books, you wouldn’t understand it either. One thing that I love is watching the characters that I love in the previous books being “grown up” and the parents themselves. I love seeing their reactions to the things their children do. I have to admit that I was a little scared of this book. I’m not sure where Samantha Towle is going with this novel. I would say that you can trust that Tru and Jake’s relationship is solid. There are a few parts here that may bring you to tears. I really like this story. My only wish is to have a spin – off series starring Jake’s kids…. I bet his daughter will be awesome. Jake’s point of view. There are no cliffs.
