David Drummond has done the audio narration of this book. The narrator just at times was a bit difficult to endure which might due to his unnatural cadency in his voice. Overall, his voice was impressive and he manages to help you get more interest in this exciting nonfiction book.

The book tells you two amazing stories from history. The first tale tells all about the rise and fall of the most beautiful tribe in the American history, known as the Comanches. The second story details the most remarkable and significant narratives that have ever come from the Old West. It is actually the epic tale of Cynthia Ann Parker, the pioneer woman and Quannah, her son (mixed-blood). Quannah became the greatest of all and the last head of the Comanches.

The book has deep and well researched details about the epic war of the Comanches. It was a long-fought war that lasted for 4 decades, which held up the development of the novice American nation.

The book is excellent and will make you cry, laugh and cringe, all at the same time. You will have feelings of shame and pride in this book. The best part is that everything in this book is real that gets so much emotion out of you.
