Detectives Steve Carella and Bert Kling are called in to commit a murder multiple times in a cold night.
Six victims including a baby. The gimmick in this book is that we find out who is responsible as the “chairman” of a local gang. We hear his confession throughout the book.
Kling has decided that he wants to propose to Augusta Blair, the gorgeous model he met in the previous book. I want to see how this plays out in later stories, as Kling has had bad luck with women in previous books.
