I thought it would just be another harem novel by a guy with lots of girls, but what I got wasn’t your typical fallen hero. This man really started out just trying to make a better life for himself and along the way gained power and it spoiled him, yes, because real power is always like that. yes, but he also doesn’t let it take away his humanity.

I really enjoyed this book and how the MC does what he needs to do to not only keep himself alive, but keep his women safe along the way. He was rewarded with power and loyalty and that’s how it should be.
