Anna and T.J. was on his way to the family of T.J. In the Maldives, the pilot of their seaplane suffered a fatal heart attack and landed in the Indian Ocean. Drifting in shark-infested waters, life jackets keep them afloat until they reach the shores of an uninhabited island. Now Anna and T.J. just want to survive and they have to work together to get water, food, fire and shelter.
Their basic needs can be met, but as the days go by, weeks and months pass, the abandoned people face a host of other obstacles, including intense tropical storms, multiple hazards, and more. The dangers lurking at sea and the possibility of T.J.’s cancer.
Like T.J. Celebrating another birthday on the island, Anna begins to wonder if the biggest challenge might be living with a boy who is slowly becoming a man.
I absolutely loved this book and the narrator. I listened to this book for 1 day, I was completely absorbed by the story. You will fall in love with the characters and find yourself liking them. The narrator is great, I listen to a lot of audiobooks and the narrator can really make or break a book. This narrator is perfect!
