I started doing Yoga Nidra at my yoga studio at the beginning of the year. When my teacher recommended this book, I pre-ordered it. The book is very good and presents the 10 steps of Yoga Nidra in an accessible and easy to follow manner. I enjoyed going through the book and recording each exercise, learning more about the process and myself. If you haven’t practiced Yoga Nidra yet this is a very nice intro. If you practice regularly, it will add depth to your practice.

The author explains each step in detail. The information is dense and the practice is difficult to do if you are a ‘rule-follower’ and want to do exactly what the meditation script dictates. It would be nice to have an audiobook in addition to the printed one to follow verbal instructions instead of following instructions while trying to do them. My understanding of meditation has improved a lot. This book has been offered for review.
