This reader loves a great vampire story, this book did not disappoint. I am a lover of dark romances, this is a bit dark but it is a true love story between a vampire and his human. This is the 2nd book in the series and it doesn’t disappoint. The plot flows beautifully from start to finish. I don’t want it to end. If you are looking for a love story mixed with action, intrigue, sadness, hatred and redemption – buy this book. Nic and Evangeline are both strong characters in this series, no one stands out more than the other. There are both heroes and heroines. This series shows that there is evil in vampires and humans. I am waiting for the next installment.

This is the second book in the Blood Series. You must listen to the first book before that. The story continues where it first ended. Like the first book, this story is well written and engaging. Nicola and Evangeline are two beautiful characters. They share a sizzling chemical reaction. The story is a page-turner: suspenseful, engaging, captivating, sensual, entertaining and fast-paced, full of twists and turns. I love the ending. Aiden Snow, Grace Grant did an excellent job with the narration. I love their voices together. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook/Series and I highly recommend it.
