This is my first time reading a novel like this, but I am addicted. Opening the story, introducing characters and information is reminiscent of a Star Wars movie. Normally, I’m very upset about the way information is introduced but the plot and character information unfolds slowly and smoothly. I love how the authors take the time to stop and explain the weapons, attacks, and energies. You really start to feel each character and feel their personality traits without pointing it out. Text and images are beautiful and this could easily be turned into a movie. I will definitely be following both authors and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

This book is definitely an ode to the Russian Litrpg novel because of its characters with a strong Russian feel. I’m not sure if the authors went in this particular direction but I think they do. I enjoyed this book very much but felt that time was not clearly represented. At some point, it’s like days when the character sleeps. There is too much action and not enough description at the points.
