Porn doesn’t have many stories. The girl who was dumped by an arranged marriage later slept with and brought the guy home as soon as he was ready to have sex with her. Nice sex scene. But there are not many real people in this story. If you’re looking for porn, this is it.
I enjoyed the basic plot here in Sheer Bliss. I also like shapeshifters – the mystical romance genre. But I’ll start choosing narratives that sound more comfortable. Charity McGowan is a good reader, albeit a bit monotonous. And I’m learning that I just like the stronger, fuller narrative in my romance novels, especially if I have to listen to it for any length of time.
