The Feeding Of Sorrows – Audiobook Online
“The Feeding of Sorrows” is a historical fiction novel by Rob Howell set during the Hundred Years War between England and France. The story centers around Edward Bolingbroke, an English knight who is captured by the French and spends several years as their prisoner.
As he struggles to survive in a brutal and unfamiliar world, Edward forms relationships with his French captors, including the daughter of a powerful baron. However, he never forgets his loyalty to England and often finds himself torn between his love for France and his duty to his homeland.
Throughout the book, Edward experiences the hardships of war firsthand and witnesses the brutal realities of medieval life. Along the way, he learns to question his beliefs and prejudices, as well as the often tragic consequences of loyalty and betrayal.
“The Feeding of Sorrows” is a well-researched and engaging novel that explores the complex relationships and dynamics of a turbulent period in history.

Once was an accident. Twice is a coincidence. Three times the enemy.
As thugs led by Zuul attack members of Queen Elizabeth’s private Rangers leaving Lyon’s Den, the battles on Cimaron 283133-6A and Peninnah turn into action by the enemy, not just simply agreement to complete the contract. What the Junglers don’t realize is that these attacks have been planned for years as part of an even larger series of conspiracies supported by members of the Mercenary Association.
Undoubted allies emerge, including a Peacemaker who doesn’t like to be taken advantage of, an electronic intelligence expert with a heavily edited past, and the strangest rookie in the history of Goths. jungle, but will their help be enough to fend off enemies looking for completeness and totality of the unit? Total destruction? And more importantly: who funds the intelligence specialist’s special toy?
The answer will be found as the Junglers battle across the stars and in the alien jungles, but will the answer only bring more questions?
Only two things are certain. Unions will change. And sadness will be nourished.
I love this unit, and Rob Howell does an amazing job of showing that just because they are not one of the horsemen does not mean they do not have just as much honor and skill.
This book gives us a much more in depth look at the foresters, as they combat enemies from all angles. As they continue to honorably fulfill the requirements of their garrison contract, a vengeful enemy stalks them at their every turn.
