I really like this book. It’s not like the Strain series I just reread, but the writing is great! An FBI Agent shoots her teammate as he tries to kill someone they just saved from a murderer. While things were going on in the media, she was sent to clean up an old dealership office. There she found answers and many other questions. Brittany Pressley is a good storyteller.

Strain was better, but this works. It seems that they were too concerned with setting up a series to adapt for TV that they forgot to fully add some things in this book. A few little things annoy me about this, but I can skip them and recommend this book to anyone who enjoys The Strain and wants more from Chuck Hogan that way.
