The Light of All That Falls By James Islington – Audiobook Online
The Light of All That Falls is the third and final book in The Licanius Trilogy, written by James Islington. This epic fantasy series follows the journey of a group of individuals as they navigate a world filled with magic, political intrigue, and ancient prophecies.
In the previous books, The Shadow of What Was Lost and An Echo of Things to Come, we are introduced to a world called Andarra, where the Balance, a magical force that maintains order, is threatened. The protagonist, Davian, discovers that he possesses extraordinary powers and is thrust into a conflict that spans centuries.
At the beginning of The Light of All That Falls, the Boundary, which separates Andarra from the Void, has been restored after a fierce battle. However, this victory may have come too late. Banes, powerful and malevolent creatures from the Void, now roam freely in Andarra. These creatures are controlled by the Venerate, a group of immensely powerful sorcerers who seek to bring about the end of the world.
As the Venerate gather their armies for a final assault on Andarra, Davian and his allies must find a way to stop them. They embark on a perilous journey to uncover ancient secrets and unravel the mysteries surrounding their own identities. Along the way, they face numerous challenges and confront their deepest fears.
The Light of All That Falls delves deeper into the history and mythology of Andarra. It reveals shocking truths about the nature of magic and the origins of its power. As Davian and his friends race against time to save their world, they must also confront their own personal demons and make difficult choices that will determine the fate of Andarra.
This conclusion to The Licanius Trilogy is filled with epic battles, intricate plot twists, and emotional moments. James Islington masterfully weaves together multiple storylines and resolves lingering mysteries while delivering a satisfying conclusion to this epic fantasy saga.

A journey that began in the Shadow of the Lost and continued in the Echo of Things to come has now come to a spectacular conclusion in The Light of All Those Falls, the final chapter of the Series. three Licanius by famous epic fantasy author James Islington.
After a barbaric battle, the Boundary is back intact – but it may be too late. Banes are now stalking the land of Andarra, and the Venates have assembled their armies for one final, crushing blow.
In Ilin Illan, Wirr fights to maintain a precarious alliance between the powerful factions of Andarra. With the dark forces approaching the capital, if he couldn’t succeed, the war would be lost.
Imprisoned and alone in a strange land, Davian pitted against the other Venerable. As he tries to stop them from ruining Asha’s sacrifice, he struggles to accept his own path and all he knows about Caeden, the friend he’s chosen to free.
And finally, Caeden must face the reality of a plan laid out centuries ago – heartbroken by how it began and devastated by how it must end.
Most stories involving time travel have a logical contradiction because their authors cannot accept the inevitable — their arrogance leads them to commit crimes (often by creating a more terrible story than liberating the dark lands of the world). The fact that the characters struggle with fate versus free will for the reader is what makes The Light of All That Falls so good!
This book makes the trilogy so much better. The way the author plays with time is amazing. I also liked how he didn’t explain everything in detail but the answer was so clear. A lot of the stories I read don’t have a satisfying ending. The author ended this perfectly. If you have read books 1 & 2 then you must choose this one. if you haven’t read them then read them and come read this. the rewards will be much more satisfying.
