Determined to honor her aunt’s memory and fulfill her own dreams, Alice decides to renovate the teashop and make it a thriving business.

Random House presents an uncut downloadable audiobook version of The Little Teashop of Lost and Found by Trisha Ashley, read by Colleen Prendergast.

Alice Rose was a minter, discovered in the Yorkshire moors above Haworth as a baby. Adopted but then rejected by her disgusted stepmother, Alice struggles to find a place where she belongs. Only the grill – the aroma of cinnamon and citrus and the feel of butter and flour between the fingers – brings the comfort of home.

So it seems natural that when she finally decided to move back to Haworth, Alice switched to baking again, taking over a run-down small teahouse and working on setting up an afternoon tea shop.

Luckily, she soon makes friends, including a Greek god-like neighbor who helps her build a family and tries to solve the mystery of who she is. There’s one or two final twists in the dark fairy tale of Alice’s life to come… but will she be able to find happily ever after?

This is a wonderful novel. The narrator is one of the best! I like the setting and the ending. Twisted enough to hold attention. I quickly tire of profanity (such as being a cop in writing and showing a lack of creativity in writing), so I appreciate the fact that there are no profanities. Not too erotic, it’s another way of showing off your writing talent. I would recommend this to friends and relatives.
