Sex, Betrayal, and Conspiracy: A Dream Vacation on a Luxury Yacht Turns Deadly in This Thrilling Beach Book “full of delectable characters flaunting their sins.” … like the latest Birkin bag” (Adriana Trigiani).

Belle likes to think she is immune to the dizzying effects of great wealth. But when her best friend, Summer, invites her on a glamorous Mediterranean vacation aboard her billionaire boyfriend’s yacht, the only logical answer is yes. Belle hopes the trip will be a much-needed respite from her stagnating acting career and humiliating waitress job, but once she’s boarded the luxurious Lion’s Den , it’s clear that this jetliner vacation isn’t as advertised.

Belle’s dream vacation quickly turns into a nightmare when she and several of the other girls Summer invites are treated more like prisoners than guests by their controlling host – and in a terrifying moment, Belle goes to Summer to find out who she really is: a vicious golden girl, digger who won’t stop to get what she wants.

Belle realizes she’ll have to keep her wits about her – and her own big secret well – kept – if she wants to get off the yacht alive.

Good story. Better than expected because most of the characters are too selfish and bland. The main character becomes stronger, smarter through each chapter. Her flashbacks help add context to the story. There are some funny situations as well as tense and disgusting. The twists in the plot made me gasp at times. Has profanity, but only refers to someone having sex. I appreciate not having to hear the obvious details of taking action. Overall, a good entertaining story for the passage of time. No need to think, just listen and enjoy.

Although the story is a bit absurd it is still an entertaining read, I find myself listening at every opportunity possible. The narrator does an excellent job and the dialogue seems authentic. Very often, they will buy a book with an interesting plot but the dialogue is so boring that it feels like a high school student wrote it, especially the inner dialogue, which this book also does. contribute. I will buy another book by this author.
