A Murder Is Announced by Agatha Christie – Audiobook Online.

This is my favorite Christie mystery to date!
I just can’t get enough of this! I think I’ve heard it dozens of times since I got it 3 months ago.

Readers
This is the second audiobook that I have heard with this reader and she has done a great job with it. Each character has their own voice, only a few minor characters seem similar. The tones and transformations match the attitudes of the characters at different times. There is even a point when one character is imitating another and the reader not only shifts his voice but actually looks like the first person is imitating the other! However, the thing is that in the next book that I heard her read, I think some of these characters were in that book.

The story pulls you along and keeps you guessing until the dramatic reveal at the end. It’s amazing while still making sense after all the groundwork laid out in the previous chapters. Some of the clues are obvious but most are subtle enough that I’m still figuring out the clues I missed the first time around. I think there are even some clues that Christie didn’t explain in the end and that makes it feel, in this case, even more real.
