In 2021, the World War killed millions, pushed entire species into extinction, and drove humanity off the planet. Those who still covet any living creature, and for those who can’t afford it, construction companies create extremely realistic simulations: horses, birds, cats, sheep.

They even created humans. Immigrants to Mars received androids so sophisticated that it was impossible to distinguish between real men and women.
Fearing the devastation of these man-made humans, the government banned them from coming to Earth. Driven into hiding, unauthorized androids live among humans, undetected. Rick Deckard, an officially recognized bounty hunter, is tasked with finding rogue cyborgs and “retiring” them. But when cornered, the androids fight back — with deadly force.
