Review 1: Blood Infernal audiobook by Julie

Great book!

James Rollins delivered a fabulous book and a fitting end to this series. I recommend it, hands down! Not a huge fan of the narrator as he is too erratic in volume (I’m always turning it up and down!), but he has a good voice and its nice to have all of the books read by the same person.

I had bought the first book in the trilogy, “Blood Gospel”. For some reason this book sat on my bookshelf unread for several years. I was thinning out my bookshelf to donate books I have read and others I had no desire to read for whatever reason, to my local library. “Blood Gospel” was in the pile to be given away. However, something prompted me to read the dust jacket, hmmm, seems interesting, then I started reading the first few pages… then I was hooked. This is a great story, it turned out to be one of those books I could not put down. “Blood Infernal” (#2 in the trilogy), was the same. After reading the first installment (Blood Gospel), I had to have the second and third! I was completely pleased with all three books and yearned for more… Those two writers were excellent collaborators.

Review 3: Blood Infernal audiobook by Metal Bender

I couldn’t put this novel down. Love the unusual religious “funning” and historical perspective. The characters were well drawn. I was rooting for the bad guys to win in this novel. The series is a great series. You do have to love the genre to read this. I enjoyed the point of view that Lazarus was the first vampire. There is always time for redemption.
